On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Faculty of Chemistry we are opening the doors of our Faculty to society, to be able to visit our facilities both individually and in groups.

Here there are the photos of the first guided tour! A special thanks to our researchers who volonteered to participate: Marta, Ohiane, Gabriel and Aritz.

Would you like to take part? Throughout 2025 monthly guided tours of our laboratories and infrastructures will be organized, so that anyone who is curious has the opportunity to participate.

Jon and Xabi at the EKINN entrepreneurship day

Jon Ayestarán and Xabier López de Pariza participated in an entrepreneurship day organized by Fomento San Sebastián to celebrate the first anniversary of EKINN project as a node of innovation and entrepreneurship in San Sebastián.

During the day, they had the opportunity to present their project LatexYZ which deals with 3D printing of high-performance polymers. They were one of the 14 new projects presented and funded by Fomento through the EKINN+ program.

We are looking for contributions on 3D Additive Manufacturing from both industrial and academic researchers. APPLY HERE!

Hurry up! San Sebastián (Spain) is hosting the inaugural edition of the Conference Series on Additive Manufacturing of Soft Materials, between October 6th and October 10th, 2025.

In addition to premier talks by leading experts worldwide, the conference includes time for oral poster sessions from individuals of all career stages, and a one-day Young Researchers Symposium on the 6th of October 2025, to facilitate the collaboration between a new generation of scientists working in AM technologies. This forum aims to encourage networking and the exchange of knowledge within the diverse scientific and industrial communities.

Plenary speakers include Emily Davidson / Princeton University, Sandra Van Vlierberghe / Ghent University, David Mecerreyes / University of the Basque Country, Tao Xie / Zhejiang University, Timothy Long / Arizona University.

Scientific committee includes Haritz Sardon / University of the Basque Country, Timothy Long / Arizona University, Eva Blasco / Heidelberg University.
