Our PhD students Irati Celada, Ander Leiza Balda and Jon Larrañaga participated in the 7th Congreso MZT in Pamplona, on 1st and 2nd of July 2026.
Together with bringing together academic researchers and experts who promote progress in the field of materials science and technology, one of the main objective of this event is to highlight the strength and capacity of the Basque language in the technological field. All lectures and Q&A sessions are in Basque, with also the main contact language being Basque. In addition, the Materials Science and Technology Commission (CTM) and UZEI will jointly analyze the vocabulary proposed at the congress, which will be reflected both in the dictionary MZT hiztegi tekniko and in euskalterm.
