Dr. Gabriel Perli is tenure-track researcher at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and former Marie SkΕodowska-Curie Individual Fellow at the University of the Basque Country. His research focuses on developing innovative organic chemistry approaches to enable new crosslinking and foaming reactions for the creation of sustainable and circular foams. He has authored several publications in high-impact journals in polymer science and materials chemistry, and is co-inventor on six patents, including one already licensed and two currently under negotiation in the field of circular foams. His work integrates synthetic innovation with process development, bridging fundamental research and industrial application. Within the project, Dr. Perli will contribute his expertise in the design, synthesis, and recycling of non-isocyanate polyurethane foams.
