Chemical Science is the flagship journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry, whose wide-ranging scope covers the full breadth of the chemical sciences. The research published in this journal contains the sorts of novel ideas, challenging questions and progressive thinking that bring undiscovered breakthroughs within reach.
The PhD entitled Sustainable Non-Isocyanate Polyurethane-Based Adhesives for Automotive Industry was carried out under the supervision of POLYMAT researcher Dr. Haritz Sardon and Dr. Iñigo Calvo, the R&D Director at Oribay Group. Well done, Álvaro!
Fermin Elizalde successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “Polyurethane Materials: Insights on Dynamic Properties and Self-Healing Applications”, under the supervision of Haritz Sardon and Robert Aguirresarobe. Congratulations!
Group member Elena Gabirondo has successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “New trends in the synthesis of polyesters: from catalyst design to chemical recycling”, supervised by Prof. Haritz Sardon and Prof. Agustin Etxeberria. Well cone, Elena!
A publication led by our group member Xabier Lopez de Pariza on photoacid generators has been selected by Polymer Chemistry as recent HOT article:
” Novel imino- and aryl-sulfonate based photoacid generators for the cationic ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone“.
Congratulations, good teamwork!
